    Silvopasture: An Agroforestry Practice

    Summary

    Silvopasture is defined as the intensive management and growing of perennial grasses or grass-legume mixes in a forest stand for livestock pasture. It is one of the most applicable agroforestry management practices that could be used in most regions of Oregon. Agroforestry is a set of practices geared to optimize productivity and conservation benefits within a set of integrated land use practices.
